Are you in Syndications looking for your next career move into a Syndication Sales Manager? My client is looking for somebody to generate revenue from content and brands through syndication, licensing and brand extensions. Could this be you?

The Syndication Sales Manager has responsibility for syndication revenue generated from International clients and deputies for the Head of Syndication Sales Manager. A key responsibility of the role is day to day syndication sales to clients in your assigned territories.

Role and Responsibilities
As the Syndication Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
• Support the International Syndication Sales Executives ensuring they meet and exceed agreed targets.
• Formulate and agree on International sales strategy with Syndication Management team and implement.
• Ensure personal targets are met.
• Day to day licensing of content to your client base across all media and formats.
• Develop and support long-term contractual relationships with key clients.
• Working with the Head of Syndication Sales Manager, develop and implement pricing and marketing strategies to maintain and increase revenue from International markets.
• Build relationships with their content contributors in order to maximise the rights they grant and ensure their content is optimal for syndication.
• Development of sales collateral and new packages which reflect available content and changes in the market
• Build close relationships with key international buying points and contacts for our content.
• Build relationships with the legal department ensuring all new agreement and those pending renewal are executed to deadline.
• Build relationships with the accounts department ensuring all credit control, vat and contributor queries are answered to deadline.
• Clear rights with internal/external stakeholders including picture desks, editors and contributors.
• Maintain up to date CRM records and operational knowledge for other Syndication systems including SAP, CHP and our marketing websites.
• Management of international Syndication Sales Executives including day to day sales performance, annual reviews and development.
• Responsible for International revenue target and ensuring targets for the International Executives are met.

Skill Set
The successful Syndication Sales Manager will have the following skills:
• Experience in fast moving commercial environments.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills, as well as strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience of managing small teams and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Excellent knowledge of the international & domestic media landscape.
• Experience of closing deals on variety of commercial models and a clear understanding of UK & International copyright regulations.
• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills and excellent administration and team working skills.
• Network of contract within the UK media market.
• Excellent planning & organisational skills – able to work in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and has the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business and external partners.
• Strong appetite for deal making and proactive approach to sales.
