Are you looking for your next Senior Talent Recruiter role? The client is one of the World’s Leading sports video news agency and they are looking for a Senior Talent Recruiter. Could this be your next role?

Your main duties will be to oversee the recruitment across the companies Productions, Studios, and JVs and to identify and manage talent internally and externally and alerting key stakeholders.

Role and Responsibilities
As the Senior Talent Recruiter, you will be managing and coordinate recruitment across Sports Production – including;
• Meeting with hiring managers to discuss recruitment needs and implement as required
• Ensuring all requests are approved prior to initiating the recruitment process including budget and headcount approvals
• Preparing job descriptions and adverts and posting onto relevant job boards
• To screen all application and send to hiring manager for review
• Arranging and booking interviews and sending out appropriate interview paperwork
• Tailoring the interview questions for each role to ensure it meets the person specifications of the role
• Ensuring the interview packs are prepared ahead of interviews and passed on to the hiring managers
• Liaising with managers to coordinate offers and feedback - sending rejection emails to unsuccessful candidates in a timely manner
• Ensuring all recruitment paperwork is collated and managed appropriately in line with the recruitment procedure
• To store and manage recruitment documents in line with The Data Protection Act and checking right to work for all candidates
• Manage the recruitment inbox and ensuring all applications and queries relating to job opportunities are acknowledged and dealt with promptly
• To management and develop the annual Advantage Training Programme, including managing the recruitment lifecycle (telephone screening, assessment centres, interviewing, bespoke induction on the first day)
• To build relationships with key universities and colleges for placement opportunities across their Productions in line with placement procedures
• To develop relationship with agencies, relevant media colleges to improve quality of candidates as well as develop a pipeline of sourcing candidates for key roles
• To assess internal talent for special projects such as Olympics, World Cup and the like and alerting the Senior Management Team
• Reviewing speculative applications to assess suitability for any upcoming opportunities – widening freelance/fixed term pool. Working with Executive PA to coordinate management of freelance database across Production
• Updating the recruiting tracker on a daily basis to reflect status of roles
• Tracking recruitment statistics – including monitoring diversity, tracking interviews and applications for each role and preparing recruitment reports on a bi-weekly and monthly basis for the team and Senior Management
• Supporting line managers in interviewing internal and external candidates
• In conjunction with HR Advisor preparing new employee documentation ensuring all visa checks and budget approval received
• To ensure contract paperwork/memos are issued promptly and details entered onto Workday by HR Assistant;
• Ensure HR Assistant chases outstanding contracts for signature and return escalating issues to Senior HR Business Partner / HR Advisors where appropriate
• Working closely with the HR Assistant in chasing outstanding contracts for signature/return and escalating issues to Senior HR Business Partner / Senior Talent Recruiter
• You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job.

Skill Set
The successful Senior Talent Recruiter will possess the following skills:
• Strong familiarity with digital content delivery and management systems, software and technology e.g. video encoding, XML feeds
• Strong understanding of digital video content consumption in either sports or news genres
• Commercial understanding of digital advertising, usage and video economics and concepts (impressions, inventory, views, etc.)
• Proven experience in reviewing and interpreting digital video usage metrics to deliver insights and improved performance
• Experience in digital video content acquisition and/or production, ideally in sports or news
• Proven experience in reviewing and interpreting digital video usage metrics to deliver insights and improved performance
• Experience of working for a digital publisher, social platform or digital video provider
• Strong understanding or experience of major social media platforms e.g. Facebook, twitter.
