Do you want the chance to be part of one of the largest publishers in the UK? My client is currently looking for a Sales Support Executive to join their expanding team based in London. The Sales Support Executive will be responsible for providing sales and operational support to the Syndication team, ensuring that content is rights cleared and delivered to customers in good time to maximise sales opportunities.
You will also provide support to the Sales Support and Development Manager in managing the marketing of content and consumer products and ensure that all marketing material is in place to send out to customers for new and incremental business.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Support Executive with strong detail and analytical skills to take the lead and progress further in their career!

Role and Responsibilities
As the Sales Support Executive your responsibilities will also include:
• Liaising with Picture Desks and the Content operations team to ensure rights are cleared and all content is uploaded onto relevant syndication platforms
• Managing and growing brand extension partnerships including sourcing and clearing content with editorial, overseeing marketing activities to increase revenue and raising invoices
• Monitoring 3rd party websites where our content is sold to ensure they are conforming to News UK’s standards and their contractual commitments
• Day to day management of ecommerce platforms including the categorisation and curation of content. Escalating technical issues with supplier when needed
• Proactively ‘check in’ with contributors to update them on sales progress of their content and identify any additional opportunities to place their content
• Responsible for dealing with customer and contributor queries, ensuring the appropriate salesperson is notified of issues as appropriate
• Proactively assist the Sales Support and Development Manager with other duties to improve and streamline the processes within the department
• Tracking clearance emails in CRM and creating opportunities for brand extensions Coordinating and delivering content to relevant parties and preparing mail shots promoting company content
• Updating any legal restrictions on all syndication systems and any issuing instructions to any 3rd parties in possession of our content
• Proactively respond to all inquiries received by the department to ensure that clients receive the best customer experience
• Consistently answer phone call and emails promptly to ensure clients receive a timely service. Pass on any queries to the sales team and track to ensure a timely response

Skill Set
Required Skills and Experience:
• Ability to use SAP accounting system
• Excellent understanding of the sales cycle, including personal and departmental performance against targets
• Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and SAP financial accounting
• Strong understanding of copyright and content licensing
• Good understanding of best practice and opportunities across the industry
• Good understanding of Salesforce CRM software
• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
• Proactive in solving problems and introducing process efficiencies
• Read trade press, quality press and relevant information to maintain up to date knowledge for the media and syndication marketplace
• Display a positive/’can do’ and results driven attitude
• Experience of working in a sales focused environment with the ability to deliver excellent customer service
