Sales Executive - Bolton

Are you an 'electric' Sales Executive who has a 'spark' for selling and has 'current' knowledge of the lighting industry? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Sales Executive to work with a leader in the global lighting market. This client is a multinational lighting manufacturer with offices around the globe and they are offering an amazing opportunity for a dedicated Sales Executive to be based in their Manchester office.
Role and Responsibilities
As the Sales Executive, your duties will include:

• Offer informed, technical and polite advice for those who need to migrate from website to the technical helpline
• Learn in-depth knowledge of the product catalogue
• Opportunity to build, maintain and grow relationships with installers, specifiers and end-users in the electrical/lighting industry
• Fully utilise and maintain an up-to-date summary of selling activities and conversations in the CRM database (Microsoft Dynamics CRM), including sales pipeline (inc quotes), calendar, customer profile and day-to-day sales activities.

Skill Set
The successful Sales Executive will have the following skill set:

• You will be highly motivated by targets and goals - Hungry for the close, not just the chase
• Robust commercial acumen and self-confident
• Be able to demonstrate the delivery of high-quality and accurate work
• You will have the ability to plan and manage a calendar for timely responses to customers
• Resourceful and proactive in identifying sales opportunities and gaining traction into the sales channel
• Have the ability to work autonomously and within a team
• Personable, with excellent communication skills
• Have an appetite for further learning

Essential skills for the successful Sales Executive:

• Excellent level of client relationship management
• Has recently worked in the lighting industry
• Highly articulate with excellent telephone manner
• Good IT skills
• Great written skills. Must be able to produce professional reports

Advantageous skills as the Sales Executive:

• Working knowledge of Relux or Dialux lighting planning software
• Worked with Microsoft Dynamics CRM
• Has worked in an eCommerce business previously
