Role and responsibilities

As the Sales Engineer your responsibilities will include:
• Own technical communications with prospects and customers, including:
• Product demonstrations,
• Requirements documents,
• Answering questions,
• Developing proposals and
• Ad-hoc training
• Develop relationships with customers’ project and technical leadership
• Provide relevant trend information and guidance on technology to customers
• Develop technical solutions for customer's specific needs
• Work closely with internal teams including:
• Sales to develop relationship with clients and prepare proposals
• Post-sales engineering to jointly define architecture and estimate costs
• Product management to maintain the feedback loop from customers
• Develop and maintain technical expertise on all aspects of the platform
• Develop and deliver custom programs and documents

Skill set

The successful Sales Engineer will have the following:
• Bachelor degree of Computer Science or relevant background
• Minimum 3 years experience in IT consulting, technical lead and/or software development
• Deep understanding of digital technology space, including:
• Technologies and trends
• Software development experience including requirements phase
• Digital marketing experience either as a practitioner, digital marketing tool vendors or digital agency is a plus
• Operating experience of digital marketing tools is plus
• Ad technology, operations and measurement is a plus
• Strong background in web/app development technologies, including:
• Experience in server-side programming, such as PHP and Ruby
• Deep understandings of open standards such as XML, HTML5 and CSS
• Basic experience of iOS/Android application development
• Experience in client-side development, including JavaScript and CSS, is a must; frameworks such as jQuery and Bootstrap are a plus
• Knowledge and experience of AWS, Windows Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or similar
• General personal qualities
• Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Ability to quickly master new technologies
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong client service orientation
• Self-starter
• Team player
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Highly motivated, self learner to develop own knowledge and skill
• Native fluency in English
