Relationship Manager - London

Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 pa basic, upto £30,000 variable

Are you looking for your next Relationship Manager role? My client, within the broadcasting and media sector is currently recruiting a Relationship Manager to oversee both New Business Sales and senior stakeholder management.
Role and Responsibilities
As Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
• Identification of New Business Development opportunities within specified clients
• Establishing an alignment between the client needs and the core services covering the following:
• Managed Service work packages
• Demonstrate an understanding of their products and services, and have sufficient knowledge to be able to identify client needs and align these to the appropriate products and services
• Acting as an agitator within a client to stimulate new ideas and thinking that will ultimately enable them to sell new combinations of services through demonstrating clear value propositions to our clients.
• Create and document valued added proposals for presentation to clients up to and including Director level.
• Establishes a clear stakeholder identification plan as well as a managed network both within the nominated clients but also the wider industry as contacts move beyond the client base.
• Ensuring that the service portfolio continues to develop in line with client demands where necessary to develop, present and internally market new services that the client may require.
• The Head of Delivery is the final escalation point for operational matters before they are referred to the Managing Partner. The Relationship Manager will also be expected to ensure that they create relationships within the wider organisation to ensure that they are aware of the wider service portfolio’s on offer.
• Establish and build Key relationships based around real budget spend with in key client
• Manage stakeholder contact plan and maintain relationships with client contacts at a senior Director level
• Take ownership of the client satisfaction process and take action to ensure that actions are determined to follow-up on issues arising from this.
• Be the first operational escalation point for service issues.
• Plan and set direction for account growth and margin enhancement, with specified clients.
• Identify areas for increased business penetration and increase scope of service opportunities and work closely with the Head of Delivery to realise these.
• Successfully contribute to the process of winning new business.
• Gain commitment from the client to act as a referee for potential clients.
• Assume responsibility for the business development process to your allocated clients.
• Ensure that teams adopt an integrated approach to the delivery of the service to the client
• Monitor financial information on qualified leads generated and ensure they are in line with targets set
• Working with the client, head of delivery to understand the detail of their requirements, and to discuss alternative options based on market knowledge, financial restrictions etc.
• You will ensure effective and timely communication to both the Client and the Senior Management Team

Skill Set
The successful Relationship Manager will have the following:
• Graduate calibre or equivalent desirable
• Valid full UK driving licence desirable
• Recruitment industry experience is desirable
• Solution selling experience is also desirable
• PC literate in at least Word, Excel and PowerPoint with a preference for new technologies such as Prezi
