A renowned publishing company are recruiting for a Programmatic Manager. The Programmatic Manager will be accountable for implementing and managing of new technology solutions across the company’s digital publications. As a programmatic manager the role requires specific attention surrounding programmatic advertising technology platforms and associated processes. The role of a programmatic manager requires the candidate to be responsible for providing new opportunities, produce advantageous suggestions via detailed analysis. The role of a programmatic manager requires a team player in the development of the organisations programmatic future. The Programmatic manger roles and responsibilities include:
Role and Responsibilities
• Implement digital programmatic campaigns
• Required to organise and collaborate with ad operations to traffic key campaigns
• Manage and monitor the programmatic sales stack, and regularly improve to capture highest possible CPMs.
• Deliver technical support in the implementation of new programmatic technology solutions, tools and platforms
• Develop and grow the yield of the open exchanges
• Contribute in vendor selection and evaluation process, and provide input based on comprehensive technical understanding of current systems and future needs of the business
• Participate in providing improvements to existing platform solutions in order to enhance advertising innovation and premium value proposition
• Have a good understanding of using multiple SSPs and waterfall ad stack implementation
• Constantly seeking recommendations and improvements the business should adopt
• Recognise potential areas of growth, and offer recommendations for budget growth from factual basis via yield management
• Suggest pricing for programmatic sales opportunities through research into rate card, advertiser historical rates and collaboration with sales team
• Manage various advertiser and agency accounts, and encouraging positive working relationships with the media buyers, planners and operation teams
• Organize campaign process reports, analysis and research leveraging data for presentation to clients during and after campaigns
• Work alongside sales, marketing and product teams to support client proposal development
• Collaborate with Business Intelligence teams to ensure regular management of reporting throughout commercial
• Adopt a consultative approach to support internal teams across the division, including Digital Account Management, Ad Operations, Sales and Product Specialists
• Attend meetings and briefing sessions with UK Agency Clients, accompanied by the companies Digital Sales Managers and Digital Account Managers
• Train direct reports on best practice in optimization and hypothesis design
• Provide validation as to how you have made improvements
• Provide a detailed analysis of campaign performance metrics and utilise this data to provide suggestions and implement strategies to achieve campaign goals.

Skill Set
• Required to have a minimum one year experience in using AdX (essential) App Nexus and Rubicon
• Have experience in buying media using a DSP (Doubleclick Bidmanager Beneficial)
• One year experience in forming and troubleshooting private and open market places
• In depth knowledge in using 1st and 3rd party data overlays in DSP and SSP enviroments
• Understanding and experience in RTB
• Previous experience with a key ad serving tool (DFP/DFA, Adform, MediaMind, Adwords, MediaPlex)
• Key interest for technology and programmatic
• Broader knowledge of other competitive media channels and their position with the digital domain
• Have the ability to remove and operate a variety of data for senior management, sales and finance
• Have a basic understanding of HTML and web analytics software
• Excellent skills in Excel
• Ability to multi task and work with a range of teams and levels
• Focused on meeting deadlines, targets and provide excellent customer service to external and internal clients
• Are resilient and able to work within a fast moving environment
• Have superb problem solving and organisation skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and have good attention to detail
• Ability to project manage efficiently
