Do you want to be part of a leading Music Revenue Collections company as an International Project Manager?

The International Project Manager is responsible for the planning and monitoring of all International business activities within both the international team and aligned operational units, including recurring operational tasks and ad-hoc projects. You will assume joint responsibility with the relevant International team member for the successful delivery of all project work, helping this amazing company to maximise 'neighboring rights' revenue collections on behalf of our members.

Role and Responsibilities
Your day to day Task as International Project Manager:

You will have the opportunity to will define and jointly own a complex and wide-ranging series of tasks, captured in MS Project, associated with collecting and distributing revenue from the department’s portfolio of CMOs. Therefore, advanced project planning capability, strong commercial drive, experience in managing high-value revenue budgets, numerical reasoning and the ability to work in a complex matrix management environment are key skills required.

Key to succeeding in this role will be the ability to lead, motivate and influence all team members and stakeholders to successfully deliver a structured and balanced timetable of work throughout the year, whilst providing input into the operational effectiveness of CMOs to help them improve their performance.

The International Project Manager will be expected to provide regular status reports against the operational plan highlighting key activities and deadlines, as well as areas of risk or resource contention.

They will work collaboratively with key stakeholders from across Member Services, Repertoire and Member Data, Music Reporting and Distribution, Marketing, Legal and Business Affairs, I.T., Finance and People and Organisational Development to ensure complex CMO revenue collection and distribution requirements are understood and delivered.

This is an internally facing role and works closely with the Director and Head of International, forming part of the departmental management team, to oversee the management of CMOs.

International travel may be a requirement of this role.

Skill Set
As successful International Project Manager you will have the following:

• To work with the Head of International to:
• Maximise all CMO revenue collections
• Support the delivery of the overall annual International revenue budget
• Oversee the deliverables due from all direct reports
• Support the distribution of collected revenues
• To create and update the annual International MS Project operations plan translating ad hoc projects and operational activities into a clear set of deliverable tasks.
• To hold weekly planning meetings with the International Territories Manager and team of Operations Partners to ensure momentum is maintained in the completion of the tasks to the agreed quality and timescales.
• To prepare project update reports for the relevant stakeholder groups in order to ensure progress is monitored and reported on in an accurate, timely and professional manner.
• To manage risks/issues and mitigate where possible to avoid adverse impacts on revenue collections, escalating in a timely manner to the Director and Head of International.
• To drive communication processes across the International department ensuring the management teams use a variety of channels to give consistent information, seek ideas and views about process improvements and general issues.
• You will act as an International SME working positively and cooperatively on joint initiatives across the company as and when required in order to assist in the achievement of the overall strategic objectives.
• You will provide leadership and direction to direct reports to ensure the delivery of high performance, acting as an enthusiastic, positive and motivated role model and coach.
• To set objectives, define personal development plans and carry out bi-annual appraisals with direct reports to give open feedback on performance to help them achieve their full potential, prescribing and following up on corrective action to help them improve.
• To ensure direct reports are appropriately and efficiently allocated to key areas of work and that priorities are always adequately covered.
• To ensure performance and attendance issues are addressed at the correct time and in line with People and Organisational Development policies.
• To contribute to the relevant areas of the communications and marketing plan to CMOs and members.
• You will proactively manage personal development, in order to increase performance levels and provide opportunities for career development, including but not limited to the development of an expert knowledge of the industry, music rights and the distribution policies.
