eCommerce Country Manager - London

An international shopping comparison engine organisation is searching for a highly motivated and experienced Price Comparison and eCommerce Country Manager to join their eCommerce and Digital Business team. As Price Comparison and eCommerce Country Manager, you will be the person running the office and the expansion. You will be the first person on the ground and will help define and execute against the clients digital & eCommerce strategy.

As the Price Comparison and eCommerce Country Manager, you will have the opportunity to show your knowledge in eCommerce, Price Comparison, affiliates and digital marketing which will allow you to be a strong voice in all aspects of eCommerce in the UK.

Role and Responsibilities
Principal responsibilities as Price Comparison and eCommerce Country Manager:

· Make a significant difference in the growth of eCommerce business in UK market by owning the entire business unit
· Build a successful Business Unit from scratch
· To facilitate, plan, manage and launch new eCommerce opportunities and partnerships
· Work with senior management, partners and stakeholders to create innovative solutions to support business requirements and growth opportunities
· Relentlessly drive for localized digital experiences that exceed expectations , drive engagement and increase revenue in UK market.
· Set the benchmark for relevant, localized, outstanding product experiences

Successful Attributes as eCommerce Country Manager:

• Entrepreneurialism is a must
• International, even global perspective in business and relationship building
• Ability to build successful partnerships
• Strategic, and impactful leader with high level of experience in digital business around Price Comparison, Affiliates, eCommerce
• Driven by results and metrics; You want to own the business unit and its growth
• Confidence to lead, collaborate and influence
• Flexible in the face of obstacles and able to solve complex problems creatively
• Ability to cope with a fast-paced, changing environment

Skill Set
Skills/Qualifications as Price Comparison and eCommerce Country Manager:

• Outstanding Commercial skills with demonstrable track record in eCommerce start up
• Strong understanding of digital eCommerce. Price Comparision and associated digital marketing
• Demonstrated success in working and influencing stakeholders, business partners and cross-functionally
• Highly experienced in retail best practices and web site merchandising
• Experience of driving high-impact projects
• Self-starter with experience of working globally across multiple time zones
• Any additional language is a plus
