This is a brilliant opportunity to work as the Director of Demand within a company which delivers personalized video experiences across all screens and is a leader in online video management, publishing, analytics and monetisation. Our Client's integrated suite of technologies and services gives content owners the power to expand audiences through deep insights that drive increased viewer engagement and revenue from video. Through a recent acquisition, Our Client also operates one of the world's largest premium video ad serving platforms and programmatic trading solutions, delivering ads to viewers across all devices. The most successful broadcasters and media companies in Europe and in the Asia Pacific region use it to maximize video monetisation.
After a very successful launch of the company’s programmatic platform last year, we are now looking for a Director of Demand to look after the company’s demand business unit in EMEA. In this role, you will be overseeing all activity and revenues related to the demand ecosystem in EMEA. This means you will be ultimately responsible for driving adoption and trading on our client’s bespoke platform by the buy side, through the creation and development of relevant partnerships across the industry, from brands to trading desks and DSPs. Armed with a team of local demand managers, you will have a tight relationship with the supply side of the business and will be expected to jointly drive revenue growth.
It is important that you not only have the experience or knowledge to execute on demand sales, but the ambition and drive to lead and grow an entire business function. Reporting to the VP of Programmatic, you will need to liaise effectively with a number of internal stakeholders and work across all departments in the business on a global basis. We believe success in this role will require a combination of strong leadership, relationship building skills as well as an obsession to grow a new business.

Role and Responsibilities
• Develop strategy for demand in EMEA, across different buy side segments (brands, agencies, trading desks, DSPs, networks)
• Development of new relationships with agencies and trading desks across EMEA
• Deal making - leading and structuring deals with senior level demand partners
• Deepen and evolve relationship with existing buying partners
• Identify strategic partnership opportunities and proactively drive co-operation opportunities
• Manage the Demand sales team
• Proven deal-making and partnership management experience
• Strong experience of digital advertising and monetisation with an understanding of online video
• Experience and proven track record of Business Development in the digital advertising industry – proven track record of sales relationships with trading desks. DSPs and/or media buying companies
• Experience of managing different internal stakeholders
• Team building experience
• Proven experience of thinking strategically about business opportunities and issues
• Great organizational skills and ability to prioritise and work effectively with deadlines
• Clear and concise communicator with the ability to be understood by commercial as well as technical teams
