Commercial Product Manager - London

We are looking for a hybrid Commercial Product Manager. Your role title could be summarised as Digital and Strategic Product Manager. As Commercial Product Manager, you will be tasked with the end-to-end management and monetisation of client's digital consumer products, focusing on yield per user/visit.
So, a very strong Commercial understanding, perhaps from a sales background, allied with Product and Strategy somewhere in your profile.

Role and Responsibilities
As the Commercial Product Manager, your responsibilities will be:
● Manage digital ad product strategy and development across client portfolio including:
● Display Media
● Native Advertising
● Branded Content
● other integrated products (e.g. engagement tools, newsletters etc.)
● Identify, select, define and scope products and capabilities from initial concept, business approval, Go to Market plan, through in-life product management to product withdrawal
● Manage relationships with stakeholders and other product managers across the business.
● Manage the pricing and the digital rate card across digital sales
● Specify market requirements by conducting market research with customers and non-customers.
● Work with relevant stakeholders across the wider business to evaluate and review third party providers
● Develop and lead the product go-to-market plans, working with all departments across the business
● Manage internal and external relationships, including ensuring that other functions take responsibility for the process and activities that fall within their remit
● Work closely with the product team to achieve a good balance of user experience and monetisation
● Work with technology development teams in order to test new or existing ad products
● Work using Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
● Attend daily stand-ups with developers.
● Manage performance of the product against agreed objectives and KPIs, and provide monthly reports documenting this for senior stakeholders.
● Work with the sales team to enable them to sell the product, organising printed and electronic promotional material and product training, where appropriate.

Skill Set
Skills as Commercial Product Manager

● Experience
● 3+ years of senior product management experience, including working on business challenges such as viewability, ad blocking
● 3+ years of sales experience
● Excellent communication skills essential.
● Good knowledge and understanding of current digital technologies, with in-depth experience of HTML/CSS3, JIRA and GA
