Business Development Representative - London

Type: Permanent Full-Time
Salary: £20,000 to £22,000 pa basic, upto £5,000 variable

A cutting edge start-up company is looking for their next Business Development Representative to join their fast growing team in central London. My client is a leading App Store Optimization (ASO) company who works with Global clients including Kodak, Virgin Media and many more. The ASO service enables apps to be discovered in iOS and Google app stores globally and subsequently, improve their app store rankings.
As their Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for sourcing leads and booking meetings for the Sales team in order for the company to pitch to potential clients.

Role and Responsibilities
As the Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for the following:
• Identify and convert potential leads into meetings for your sales team.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly targets based on meetings booked and leads converted into sales.
• Conduct research to identify potential leads and opportunities within defined parameters.
• You will score, qualify and prioritise leads through outgoing in incoming calls and networking.
• Follow up on leads and opportunities.
• You will build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel.
• Identify key influencers within leads to determine budget and timeline for opportunities.
• Responsible for inbound inquiries, filtering efficiently and accurately qualifying leads and inquiries.
• Build and maintain a good knowledge of the company’s products and provide solutions to prospects.
• Manage data and information for all new and prospective clients.
• The successful Business Development Representative will be expected to be adaptable and cover a number of roles when required as my client is a young and nimble company.

Skill Set
The successful Business Development Representative will have the following skill set:
• A minimum of 8 months’ experience in B2B sales.
• Educated to degree level.
• Experience of lead management and generation in a B2B environment.
• IT skills and good with MS Office and Mac Products.
• You will ideally have experience with CRM Software.
• Proven track record of strong customer relationships.
