Business Development Manager - London

My client is a global leader in loyalty management and they are now seeking an experienced Business Development Manager. They offer clients, partners and members proven expertise in launching and managing loyalty programs, delivering proprietary loyalty services, creating value through loyalty analytics and driving innovation in the emerging digital, mobile and social communications spaces.

As the Business Development Manager you will identify new partner opportunities and be an integral part of the team in managing the sales process and converting prospects. The successful Business Development Manager will be responsible for sourcing partner leads and will play an integral role in the sales process to convert leads to successful sales.

Role and Responsibilities
• Support/drive partner meetings and negotiation of key commercial terms
• Generation of target, partner leads, including attendance at events
• Management of the contract process, co-ordinating across all relevant departments (legal, technical, operations, finance, marketing and partnerships)
• Provision of analysis and research into market sectors, trends, competitors and potential partners
• Design and creation of partner propositions, securing support and input from relevant departments, e.g. marketing, IT, partnerships
• Creation of excel business plans to support the commercial negotiations
• Creation of presentations to support/deliver client and internal meetings

Skill Set
• Analytical nature and creative thinking
• Proficient excel modelling skills
• An understanding of the loyalty market would be an advantage
• Self-driven
• Outgoing, confident, resilient, determined and enthusiastic
• Strong communications skills with good written English
• Proficient in PowerPoint
• Ability to build relationships at all levels
