Are you an experienced Account Manager looking for your next step? My client a well-known bank, is looking to recruit an Account Manager is to oversee both New Business Sales & delivery of contractually agreed operational service to a client or group of clients of contracts.

Role and Responsibilities
As Account Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
• Identification of New Business Development opportunities within specified clients
• Establishing an alignment between the client needs and the core services offered, covering the following
o Flexi-resource packages
o IT/BPO Managed Services
o Fixed Priced work packages
• Be able to act as a solution lead to help identify clients needs and apply appropriate products or services to the clients’ need
• Acting as an agitator within a client to stimulate new ideas and thinking that will ultimately enable your company to sell new combinations of services through demonstrating clear value propositions to our clients
• Create and document valued added proposals for presentation to clients up to and including Director level
• Acts as client representation for monitoring the resourcing outputs for resourcing requirements ensuring are managed in line with expectations & contractual obligations
• Creates and establishes client based forecasting mechanism to cover the services being delivered
• Establishes a clear stake holder identification plan as well as a managed network both within the nominated clients but also the wider industry as contacts move beyond the client base
• Contract performance and client satisfaction leads to reference-ability, retention, and extension of the associated commercial arrangements
• The Account Manager will also be expected to ensure that they create relationships within the wider organisation to ensure that they are aware of the wider service portfolio’s on offer
• Manage stakeholder contact plan and maintain relationships with client contacts at a senior Director level
• Take ownership of the client satisfaction process and take action to ensure that actions are determined to follow-up on issues arising from this
• Assume responsibility for the overall service output to your allocated clients
• Ensure that the teams under management adopt an integrated approach to the delivery of the service to the client
• Be part of staff & service performance management, staff development and contribute to succession management planning
• Carry out communication of intra-Company and other relevant information
• Plan and set direction for account growth and margin enhancement, with specified clients
• Identify areas for increased business penetration and increase scope of service opportunities and work closely with the Client Portfolio Director to realise these
• Successfully contribute to the process of winning new business for the client
• Gain commitment from the client to act as a referee for potential clients
• Assume responsibility for the fulfillment of contractual obligations to the associated clients
• Ensure that regular and appropriate review meetings are conducted
• Collate and review Management Information reports, highlighting any significant issues to the Client Portfolio Director
• Monitor financial information and take action to ensure that the contract remains within budget
• Working with the client to understand the detail of their requirements, and to discuss alternative options based on market knowledge, financial restrictions etc.
• To liaise with the Resource Manager on progress and provide guidance based on the clients requirements
• To ensure effective and timely communication to both the Client and the Senior Management Team

Skill Set
The successful Account Manager will have the following:
• Graduate caliber or equivalent desirable
• Valid full UK driving license desirable
• Recruitment industry experience is desirable
• Solution selling experience is also desirable
• PC literate in at least Word, Excel and PowerPoint with a preference for new technologies such as Prezi
