A code savvy, 2nd Line Technical Support Engineer required to join the leading online video platform company to work directly with some phenomenal brands. Your role as 2nd Line Technical Support Engineer will include building products and online services that promise to transform the media industry and change the way people all over the world watch videos. Role and Responsibilities
As 2nd Line Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:
• Responding to technical issues from customers via phone and email
• Providing escalated technical and triage support for other team members
• Actively contributing to online community
• Working closely with Engineering, Product Management and QA teams to increase customer satisfaction by providing critical feedback and assistance for product enhancement
• Interacting closely with support offices in the US, Europe, Singapore, and Japan, as well as with customers around the world

Skill Set
The successful 2nd Line Technical Support Engineer will have the following:
• 3+ years technical support / problem-solving experience with proven analytical skills
• Proven ability to work independently and as a part of a team to quickly and calmly resolve technical issues
• Sound understanding of internet technologies including browsers, networking, firewalls & proxy servers.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new skills quickly.
• Fluency in English essential, additional languages beneficial
• Strong technology background with a comprehensive knowledge of iOS and Android native applications and network-based products
• Proficient in web-based technologies, including HTML, XML, FTP, JavaScript, and Adobe Flash.
• Good knowledge in object oriented programming, Objective-C and/or Java and API developer support experience
• Familiarity and working knowledge with rich media applications, online video and of video encoding applications is a plus
• Knowledge and/or experience in using multi-platform App development frameworks such as PhoneGap, AppCelerator, Cordova
• Exposure and working knowledge in at least one other programming language including Java, PHP, Net, SWIFT is a plus.
• Desirable experience in using Xcode and Android Studio
• SQL knowledge including writing scripts to query databases is also desired
• Computer Science degree preferred
