Can one specialist recruitment agency really make a difference in communities all over the UK? Absolutely! We have been working with a great charity called Founders4Schools. We love the work they do, what they stand for, and the impact they make.
Founders4Schools is a fantastic organisation that inspires students by connecting them with local business leaders. Their mission is threefold:
Making a difference
Research shows that students who have four student-employer encounters are five times less likely to become NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) and three times more likely to choose a STEM subject (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). To date, Founders4Schools have facilitated 175,204 student-employer encounters and 96% of students felt inspired by the speakers. Students who attend these programs also hear about real-life applications from Science, Technology, Arts, Engineering and Maths (STEAM) subjects, making a critical link to how learning STEAM directly relates to growing and scaling successful enterprises.
As ambassadors for student employability, Founders4Schools and Opilio have facilitated student-employer encounters by enabling teachers to place business leaders in their classrooms. These leaders talk to students about the jobs they might hold or create in the future. Since signing on as a Founders4Schools Educational Partner, Opilio have made it possible for 260 business leaders to have contact with more than 32,000 students all round the UK! Read all about it here. We have also assisted the charity in recruiting stellar digital candidates from back-end Python developers, business analysts, right through to a managing director.
“We needed to scale and grow our business and needed to work with an experienced recruitment business that could partner with us. Opilio were the right recruitment partner for us. The service we received by the team, especially Sheba, was nothing less than exceptional. Their efforts have enabled us to recruit some of the brightest talent for our business.”
